Cues are paired by their position in the file. Insertions and deletions can shift these pairs; this tool does not perform semantic or translation alignment.

Timing and text in one review
A changed pair lists its start and end deltas and whether its text changed. The full report also records positioning changes and extra or missing cues.
Median offset is a clue
The median start-time delta can reveal a common shift. It does not mean every cue shifted equally, and it is less meaningful after inserting or deleting cues.
Keep a controlled comparison
Use matching versions of the same transcript for the clearest result. For a different edit or translation, review correspondence manually.
Work through an example
A fixed subtitle delay and subtitle drift need different adjustments
Measure two anchors before deciding whether an offset or a linear retiming is appropriate.
